When I started to look for a new career, I quickly realized that Personal Training was a fantastic opportunity for me. It allowed me to create my own hours, begin exploring my entrepreneurial skills, and participate directly in my community.

Fired up on my new idea, I searched the Internet to learn about my new career! What a surprise to find there was … absolutely nothing about how to become a personal trainer.

I expected to spend a few hours on the Internet to learn how to become a Personal Trainer. Maybe a Wikipedia article about the path to becoming certified or some information on About.com that would outline exactly how the profession works.

I spent months searching, learning, making mistakes, and just throwing up my hands. One day, the idea gelled in my head to put everything I learned into a book that aspiring trainers could use to actually become trainers without falling for all the traps that are littered in this industry.

Using everything I learned and put into my book, I became Dual Certified and went back to school for a Health and Fitness degree to further my education. I was successfully training clients, expanding my business, learning new skills, and enjoying my new career in much less time than I had been led to believe.

If you’re interested in what it takes to become a personal trainer, and just how to go about doing it as a career, you may find my information valuable. Visit my sister site “How to Become a Personal Trainer” for more information!
